These folks both have good answers; other big factors in your rating (or ability to get coverage) is the length of treatment, how effective the treatment is and what is the cause of the heart issues (extra weight, hereditary, past medical issues).

Find a local independent agent in your area that specializes in life insurance. Have him shop you with several companies. Expect to pay standard + rates; but whatever you do, don’t put it off.
